Installing an app without going through Google Play is what Android was built on. Google is tightening that: from 2027, an app installed outside its store will have to come from a developer verified by Google, otherwise you will need to turn on an advanced flow, with a one-day wait the first time. We keep this door open: on your phone, you choose what you install.
You install the latest published version. The app then offers its own updates.
Download for AndroidFor automatic updates, you can also follow the public releases repository with Obtainium.
