Handovers and checklists now update live

HandoverChecklist

At the front desk, several people often work on the same screen: the day’s handover notes, the shift checklist. Until now, everyone saw the state of the moment they opened the page. To find out that a colleague had added a note or started a task, you had to reload, or wait for the periodic refresh.

Changes appear on their own

The handover and checklist screens now receive changes live. A task started on the housekeeping tablet moves to in progress on the front desk computer at the same moment. A comment or a reaction added to a task shows up in the thread you already have open, without closing it.

Your typing comes first

A screen that moves on its own must never lose what you are doing on it. When a note you are reading changes, the line updates with a brief highlight, without scrolling the page. When notes are added, removed or reordered, nothing moves: a banner signals the pending changes, and you apply them when you are ready. And if you are in the middle of writing, what you type cannot be overwritten by an update from elsewhere.
