See who started a task

A completed task showed who had completed it. A task in progress stayed anonymous: there was no way to tell at a glance, from the table, that somebody had already picked it up.

Who is on it, from the start

As soon as a task moves to in progress, it carries the name of the person who started it and the time they did, right in the table row. The rest of the team can see straight away that the job is taken.

The first start is the one that counts

Picking a task back up or clicking a second time does not change the name shown: the person who started it keeps the credit. A task marked complete without ever going through “in progress” shows no starter, because there was none.

Both moments on the task sheet

Once a task is complete, its sheet shows the start and the finish one below the other: who began, who wrapped up, and at what time. The table stays readable by showing only the most recent of the two.
